I am Finni director of Josafinni Studios.

I am a participatory interior designer, co-designing socially engaged spaces. I empower communities to reimagine their environments and offer opportunities for co-design in a playful and accessible way.

I'm a scouser living in Glasgow and work across Scotland and the north of England.

My Story

It all began during 2020 whilst juggling my Master’s in Interior Design at the Glasgow School of Art and starting my own business MAKE! a weekly arts club where children could explore, create, and make a glorious mess.

I realised that design didn’t have to live only on paper or in polished interiors, it could live with people, in shared moments of creativity. That’s when the idea of mixing interior design with community engagement truly took shape.

Fast forward four years, and Josafinni Studios is designing in collaboration with people; from interior and graphic design to product making, research, teaching, and facilitating workshops for people of all ages.

At the heart of everything I do are four guiding threads: community, mental health, sustainability, and playfulness. Whether I’m co-designing a space, running a workshop, or creating objects, I’m always exploring how design can connect us, to each other, to our environments, and to our sense of joy.
