The Nook, SAMH in collaboration with Anna Campbell Jones
2025
Myself and Anna Campbell-Jones have been designing The Nook for SAMH
Its been a dream project to work on such an impactful and needed project as well as having the incredible opportunity to collaborate with the brilliant Anna Campbell Jones
"The Nook provides barrier-free access to mental health support, with no need to book an appointment, no need for referrals, and no waiting lists. Anyone looking for support can walk through the door and get help fast. The Nook in Glasgow forms the first hub in "Scotland’s first national network of mental health hubs"."
We designed a welcoming and homely space that is non clinical and sustainable, using place based and participatory design methodologies and sustainable approaches.
All of our lives have been impacted by mental health. The work that SAMH are doing is life saving and I'm honoured to be part of this project.
The Nook is in Glasgow’s Merchant City, at Brunswick House, 51 Wilson Street, and will be open 10am-4pm, seven days a week.
